She practiced tax law as a partner in the law firm Afschrift, until 2008, when she joined THALES.

Valérie-Anne advises companies, their executives and individuals on tax optimization and defends them in tax disputes. She has developed her skills in patrimonial and inheritance organization, both at the Belgian and international level.
