Before joining Thales, she worked for three years in the private sector (Big Four and international banking), where she acquired a solid grounding in both direct and indirect taxation.
Barbara then joined the Brussels Bar, where she practiced tax law for two years. There she defended and advised corporate and individual clients, and discovered her interest in tailor-made advice. In particular, she dealt with international tax law, specific tax regimes such as the impatriate and copyright regimes, inheritance tax and the taxation of SMEs.
Barbara also specializes in wealth planning.
